The job

The job
Food runners are an essential part of the MR PORTER STEAKHOUSE. Their main duty is to deliver or run food to table once it is prepared. Our MR PORTER STEAKHOUSE runner needs to be extremely efficient and detail oriented along with having a courteous manner as they are always in direct contact with the guest. The Runner is also the last person to see each dish before it reaches the guest, so it’s important for them to know what each dish is supposed to look like so nothing is missed. It’s also important that the plates are handled carefully and brought out in a timely manner, to ensure optimal food temperature. Other duties include describing dishes to a guest, removing soiled plates, restocking supplies, maintaining a clean work space.

The job
We are looking for an incredible Storekeeper, who will work on the success of our newest addition in the Catalonian capital. In the position of a Storekeeper, you are responsible for the operational administration, logistics and storing of the entire range of goods at MR PORTER STEAKHOUSE Barcelona.
Together with the storekeepers team you are responsible for making and receiving orders, carry out checks on incoming goods and managing the stores. You will be also managing the daily internal ordering system ensuring that the different departments are always stocked up within a timely manner, to keep our guests always satisfied. Furthermore you play a central role in the end of month stock take, resolving delivery issues and liaising with different third party companies. For this position we are looking for someone who will be motivated and who has the energy to make an incredible success story of our new Catalonian addition. For our new Barcelona MR PORTER STEAKHOUSE, we are currently recruiting creative Chefs (all levels).
The Chef will be preparing the recipes concern the planning and making the orders ready. As a Chef you are responsible for the preparation, production and cooking of food appropriate to the section, to the required standard, ensuring guest satisfaction. You help to order food as required and ensure that stock is rotated, labelled and stored in compliance with procedures laid out in the H&S manual, so food safety and quality is maintained. Other tasks are attended to developing garnitures, cleaning the workplace, working according the HCCP-method and assisting by the distribution of stocks. The job
For our new Barcelona MR PORTER STEAKHOUSE, we are currently seeking for motivated Chef De Partie.
We are looking for a detail-oriented, reliable Chef de Partie to join our ongoing growing team. In this position, you will play a key role in managing all aspects of the kitchen department of MR PORTER. You will be expected to deliver experience and motivate all staff of the pastry section to ensure and aim to deliver a great dining experience for our guests. As a Chef de Partie you will be responsible for maintaining quality and increasing profitability. Management skills and a good understanding of high efficiency and concept experience are a must.

• To ensure all that all mise-en-place is always freshly prepared and on time
